Young Carers to join Dart Sailability

Ten youngsters, who have family caring duties, took time off last week to sail and motor at Galmpton. They all tried sailing in a Hansa and on board the Hawk 20. They also all had a go at driving Farries flyer (ARC). After sailing they enjoyed tea and chocolate brownies baked by new volunteer Chris Wood’s wife Maureen. One was heard to comment - “that’s the best thing I have done”.

Torbay young Carers are joining us as a group and members re invited to help out at future sessions.
