In support of efforts to improve the experience of members the Trustees and Management Team have decided to undertake a survey of members views. To do this we have registered to take part in a survey managed and funded by the Royal Yachting Association and delivered by TLF Research. This will give us added benefits through the ability to compare our members’ priorities and assessments with those of other sailing clubs around the country. I have seen the benefits of this approach at other clubs where I am a member and, in the feedback, that the RYA has provided all clubs from the first round of surveys. We are hoping that other Sailability Groups will be participating which will give us some valuable comparisons.
The Survey will be emailed to you towards the end of May and be open for the whole of June. It won’t take long to fill in and, if you prefer, you can complete the survey in chunks. Each time you click on the link it will take you back to where you left off. It couldn’t be easier. Do please take the time to provide your thoughts and comments. All entries will be anonymous.
When we receive the results from the RYA we will share them with you together with any proposed actions. These will build on the actions already in hand following last year’s brainstorming.
