They have given us a generous grant that covers half the amount needed to purchase, install, certify and train people in the operation of a new personnel hoist. The other half came from a very kind grant from the Essex Trust. The new hoist will be installed at Kingswear in the near future. The hoist will provide a further access point for people with disabilities, including those in wheelchairs, to sailing and boating on the river Dart.
