The sun shone and the crowds poured in to Galmpton's annual Gooseberry Pie Fair where DSG had a stand with our rescue dummy a major attraction for young and old alike! Children (of all ages....) drew faces and thought up names for our dummy used for practising man over board rescues. Andy, Bosun Bruce, Hefty and Ronald were just a few names put forward. It is hoped that several groups may join us after expressing interest at the fair. The sound of bagpipes resonated round the site as officers from Britannia Royal Naval College brought the massive pie in which was then sold with proceeds going to charity.
