Hansa 303
It is the ideal boat for someone's very first sail as they can be accompanied by an experienced sailor and they can start in the crewing role and be trained in the use of each element of control i.e. Jib only, Mainsail only, Helm only, then combinations until she/he is controlling the whole boat. They can also be trained in the basics of racing strategies and tactics.
Maximum weight of 2 sailors 160kg.
Maximum additional cargo 20kg.
Full information on the Hansa 303 Wide is given in the Class Rules document:
and in the Owners Manual:

Hansa Liberty
We have two Liberty’s which are specially designed single handed boats similar to, but faster than, the 303. They provide our more experienced sailors with a bit more excitement and speed.
Maximum weight of sailor 120kg
Maximum additional cargo 30kg

RS Venture Connect
Oscar is an RS Venture Connect SCS set up with a Dual Seat Control System. The supportive seats enable disabled sailors to steer the boat using a joy stick and handle all the controls. With an asymmetric spinnaker she provides sailors with some exciting sailing especially in a bit of breeze. She has been used in races with other sailing clubs on the river.
RS sailing configuration recommendation:
12-14 kts mainsail reefed
17-18 kts no spinnaker
24+ kts sailing aborted
NOTE: Dart Sailability criteria may reduce these wind speed limits.
