With sunny weather forecast there was a good turn-out for this year’s Dart 10k over the weekend of 14th and 15th September. The organisers, The Outdoor Swimming Society, were not disappointed. Nearly 1500 swimmers set their alarms, clambered out of bed, and made their way to Totnes beneath a bright harvest moon to help celebrate 10 years of the Dart 10k.
Among the swimmers was Matt Boulter, Matt's brilliant efforts in completing the Totnes to Dittisham course down the River Dart raised over £619 in sponsorship which he has generously given to Dart Sailability. Our members, volunteers and trustees are extremely grateful and really appreciate Matt's fantastic support. His kind donation will really help us to maintain our ongoing operations and enable us to continue to provide boating and sailing experiences on the Dart for people with any kind of disability.
