Facts & Figures for 2023

Now that all the sailing season has well and truly ended, here are few facts and figures showing what we've been up to this year - and it's a lot! We had some dodgy weather, particularly in August, and had to cancel a few sessions. However, attendance and membership is well up on last year.

We now have 145 members comprising 78 volunteers, 52 sailors, life long members and group leaders with nine applications pending

220 sailors' sessions took place lasting up to three hours each

247 volunteer sessions up to five hours each

21 full sessions and 4 evening keel boat sessions

3 groups consisting 64 sailors in total (Bidwell Brook, Visual Eyes and Young Adult Carers)

13 members earned First Aid qualifications

6 members were awarded the RYA Powerboat 2 qualification

Moving and handling sessions - numerous!

Social events included the fabulous Sausage Sizzle, BBQ at RDYC and Dartmouth Regatta

Winter is well and truly upon us but activities continue until 2024's sailing season starts so looking forward to seeing you at a quiz, Christmas lunch, talk or maintenance and training sessions.

Well done to everybody who made 2023 such a great success!
