Looking at the various forecasts they do not seem to agree. It could be wet or it could be dry. So in the true British style we will have the BBQ and hope. It might be worth bringing a large umbrella to keep your burger dry if we are unlucky.
Looking forward to seeing you all for this final session
Our final session for 2021 is on Monday. Start time 1000. Volunteers 0900 please.
Please bring warm clothes and waterproofs as it will be colder than of late and there is a chance of showers.
After the session Carrie has arranged a BBQ. Please let her know if you plan to attend in order to help her manage catering. As you may have noticed the weather is changing and it could be wet on Monday. We will check the forecast on Saturday and make a decision on whether or not to cancel the BBQ. If it is cancelled please feel free to bring your own picnic to eat on the beach if we got the weather wrong or in the clubhouse.
We have just taken delivery of an RS Venture Connect on loan for a trial. This will be available for viewing on Monday and we hope to get a few sailors out for a trip. The intention is to have a few more trial sailing days in the next 2 or 3 weeks so that members can come to a view on whether this is the sort of boat we should buy next. For more information see RS Venture Connect Plug & Play Para Sailing System (rssailing.com) The one we have on loan is fully fitted with seats and joystick controls and a spinnaker.
Lets hope the weather plays ball and we can have a great final session with good turn out.
