Nearly 40 members and Harry the guide dog attended a very successful workshop exploring how we can improve the charity's offer. The venue was Churston Golf Club and attendees rotated between different topics enabling facilitators to get a really good idea of what needs to be done for next season. Topics included communications, new members' experiences, scheduling, increasing competency for volunteers, membership recruitment and how we welcome new members. We are very grateful to the Torbay Council Community Fund which donated £125 towards the workshop. Thanks to Anna, Chris, Carrie, Andy and Bob for co-ordinating and presenting the findings. Thanks also to Churston Golf Club for making us all so welcome. Special guest was Harry, Steph's lovely guide dog who was very patient and well behaved. Hats off Harry!
