Sonars put to sea for a Wednesday evening RDYC race

Balmy warm conditions

Finally the Sonars put to sea for a Wednesday evening RDYC race in balmy warm conditions.

The north, north east, north west, south westerly airs put up some challenges, not least for the race officer.

There was a huge turnout, at the first mark maybe 15 boats from all 3 classes were cosily amassed, gently bumping as most had no steerage way in the strong tide.

Krakon was first Sailability boat over the finish line but had to retire, so Sonar of Dart picked up second place overall.

Well done!
