About the event I have hired the skittles alley at Boots & Laces, Torquay for the evening of Tuesday, 29 January, from 6.30pm, and hope many of you will be able to attend for what I hope will be a fun and sociable evening.

The venue is at the Torquay United Football Club ground, Marnham Road, Torquay TQ1 3PS.  There is level access through double doors into the Boots & Laces club for wheelchair users and they have suitable toilet facilities.  There are a few parking spaces directly outside the entrance to the club but there is also lots of street parking in the vicinity so I hope parking will not be a problem.

The cost will be £5 per head to include sausage and chips and the bar will be open if you would like to buy a drink.

Please let me know by Friday, 11 January, if you would like to attend.  (For catering purposes I would like to confirm numbers with the club as early as I can).  For convenience may I please ask that you bring payment, in cash, on the night.
